A recent iPad consumer study by Cooper Murphy Webb shows that 27% of 1034 UK iPad users never take their iPad out of the house – however the study doesn’t say what % of iPads were WiFi only or 3G enabled which might explain the skew.
43% use the device for more than 10 hours per week, it’s the second most popular device for entertainment (iPad 24% v Laptop at 33%) but the most popular device for ebook reading – 41%.
