Facebook Places has finally gone live in the UK, with an early breakfast news brief this morning in London confirming it. The UK is the first European country to have Places activated, after Japan and the US. This is a “Stage 1” release so additional features like photos and video uploads are not available yet, but you can link Places with Fan and Business Pages on Facebook.
