Google has today launched the Google Phone Gallery, an online database designed to help search the growing range of Android handsets available across the world. Covering seemingly all networks across 16 countries the service provides a searchable list of devices.

The gallery only lists phones that have Google services installed (Marketplace, GMail, Maps etc.), and doesn’t currently show any Android tablet devices. You can search for phones by carrier, model, price or manufacturer and you can compare several phones ‘side by side’ to see the different specs.
