The iPad is integrating its way into our lives in more and more ways all the time, and now if you’re flying through JFK or LaGuardia and fancy a meal from selected outlets, you can order your food on a provided iPad!
Airport restaurant operator OTG Management and Delta Airlines have just launched the initiative at New York’s JFK and LaGuardia airports allowing customers to order meals from participating airport restaurants via special kiosks near the gates, with delivery to the gate guaranteed within 10 minutes. You can eat the meal at the newly installed gate eating areas, or specify to have the meal ‘to go’ and take it onto the flight with you. The iPad kiosks will also let you check flight details and play selected games!
