Virgin Media has announced its New Year handset line-up, and there’s some great ones in there.

Virgin are including virtually all the best phones recently made available in 2010 and really giving a big boost to their smartphone lineup. Included is their first Windows Phone 7 device the Samsung Omnia 7 along with Android and Blackberry handsets.

  • The Samsung Omnia 7 – available from January free on a £35 tariff with unlimited texts, 1,000 minutes and 1 GB mobile web.
  • The Desire HD – available free on a pay monthly contract from £35 with unlimited texts, 1,000 minutes and 1 GB mobile web from Boxing Day.
  • The Nokia C7 – available now free on a pay monthly contract from £25 with unlimited texts, 600 minutes, 1 GB mobile web.
  • The Sony Ericsson X8 – available free on a £10 a month tariff with 50 minutes,  250 texts and 500MB mobile web from New Year’s day
  • The BlackBerry Torch available now free on a £35 tariff with unlimited texts, 1,000 minutes and unlimited BlackBerry web from December
  • The BlackBerry Bold 9780 available now free on a £25 tariff with unlimited texts, 1,000 minutes and unlimited BlackBerry web from 29th December

As usual if you’re an existing Virgin media phone, broadband or TV customer you can benefit from free discounts of add-ons to mobile packages.
