A coffee shop in Croatia is stocked with iPads for customers to use when they want to browse the latest news and sport , instead of having newspapers available. The news is more up to date and the coffee shop oesn’t have to buy newspapers in each day and dispose of them again when closing, so not only are they saving money (eventually!) they are also greener.
The iPads have a security tag on them which alerts the shop management if they stray too far from the table.
