The Dell Streak a 5″ Android tablet has been around for about a year, available SIM Free or as a connected device on contract via O2. It gained a strong following as a convenient portable Android tablet, but many people felt the5″ screen was just too small for a decent web browsing experience.
Well Dell have just announced the big brother, the 7″ version that briefly glimpsed in Michael Dells hand back in September at CES2011.
The Dell Streak 7 is a similar form factor as the Dell Streak 5 with the following specs confirmed:
- Android 2.2-based tablet delivers a seamless online experience
- Dual-core Tegra 2 processor
- 4G capable
- Vibrant 7-inch, multi-touch display with full Adobe Flash 10.1
- 1.3MP front-facing camera for face-to-face chats on popular services, such as Qik or Skype
- Widescreen display optimally designed for mobile Web, video and movies
- Up to 32GB of internal storage, plus Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS built-in
