O2 are now selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab on their website, SIM Free, for just £299 – by far the best price we’ve seen for the Tab since it’s over-priced launch, beating the most recent sighting at £360.00.
The 7″ Galaxy Tab is a very usable Android tablet, small and light enough to be carried around in your pocket – you can check out our full review of it here. At £299, less than half the initial launch price, the Tab is now quite a bargain, but we’re wondering why O2 are selling them off at such a discount – the Tab successor, the Tab 10.1, is a far bigger device and there isn’t much quality competition in the 7″ space at the moment.
