RIM first unveiled the Playbook 7″ tablet back in September last year, and now its finally received a UK release date of June 16th.
The Playbook has a dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP processor, Blackberry QNX OS, 1GB of RAM, and the choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB storage. Engadget has a nice full on review which will have to do untl we can get a play with one.
The prices vary by storage amount, and break down £400 for 16GB, £480 for 32GB, or £560 for 64GB and Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u, Insight, and Best Buy UK having already announced they’ll be stocking the tablet and spome have pre-order pages up now.
