Three have just announced they have been selected as the Chromebook 3G connectivity partner in the UK. Announced yesterday at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco, the two devices available at launch will be Samsung and Acer models featuring Chrome highlights such as near instant on functionality and exceptional battery life.
According to Google, Chromebooks with built in 3G will come with 3GB of data, valid for 3 months, on the Three network (that’s a lot of 3’s!), after which you can continue on a subscription plan (price to be confirmed) or use the PAYG data options outlined below.
