Yesterday we covered the “10 Most Common iPhone unlock codes” as published by Daniel Amity via data his App Big Brother Camera Security collected.
Although the App had its own lock-code and was not in any way actually collecting the devices genuine lock code, and even though the data was sent anonymously, Apple has today banned the App from the App store.
Amity is quoted as saying:
I’m certainly not happy about it, but considering the concerns a few people have expressed regarding the transfer of data from app to my server, it is understandable.
