The highly addictive Burn The Rope App is now Free in the iTunes store. Previously voted both Gizmodo and TUAW ‘App of the day’ Burn The Rope is an addictive game to burn as much rope on each level as possible, but the fire will only burn upwards so you need to rotate your iPhone around so maximise the burnage and complete the level.
As you progress through the levels there are various bugs that produce variations on the gameplay, some affecting the fire, and some helping you reach other parts of the rope ‘web’. There are over 112 levels and you can design your own level and upload it to the community for voting.
Being free it is quite heavily ad-supported, and only the standard version for the iPhone is free, the HD version for the iPad is still a paid for App.
