They also use my favourite style of iPhone case, its made of sturdy but flexible plastic, and is very slim hugging the iPhone but leaving all the ports, buttons and camera aperture exposed. The case is raised slightly up from the screen, so it even provides protection if you place your phone face down on a table.
The website is very modern, and easy to use. Start by clicking on “Create My Case” where you are prompted to upload your own image for your case, the option most people will be here for. In case you’re truly stuck for inspiration though they have a library of images you can choose from to save you supplying your own – there are lots of options ranging from textures, to cute animals to jelly beans.
I opted for the “Upload your image” option for a custom design. An explorer window appears and you browse to the image you want to use on your case. Next you pick the type of case you want from the range of available options – iPhone4, iPhone 3G/S, and coming soon the Blackberry Bold and iPad.
Once this is done you move on to positioning your image. I decided to use the Tech on the Go logo and wrap the edges over the side of the case slightly.
Then simply accept the Terms & Conditions and click “Buy this case”. Finally you confirm the amount and then walk through the process of creating an account and paying. There is a free shipping option with 3-5day delivery, or an express shipping option for £4.99 for 1-2 working days if you’re in a hurry for your case! And that’s it, you get a nice Order Complete message and now I’ll sit back and wait for my customised case to be delivered! There will be a follow-up post when the case arrives and we try it out so check back toward the end of the week.
