comScore have released data for European Internet Usage for May 2011 and the UK ranks 4th in highest usage. The data shows that 366.9 million unique visitors went online in May 2011 for an average of 26.8 hours per person. The ‘most online’ country was Germany with 49,993k unique visitors, then Russia with 48,294k, France with 42,335k and in 4th place the UK with a bit of a drop to 36,660k unique visitors.
Contradicting Nielsens data, comScore has Google sites ranked as the top European web property in May with 333.4 million unique visitors, Microsoft sites continued to rank second with 270.9 million visitors with Facebook.com in third place with 240.0 million visitors.
