Liliputing.com shows the Fujitsu Fujitsu F-07C a phone handset also running full Windows 7 OS due to launch in Japan this weekend on July 23rd.
The Fujitsu F-07C measures 4.9″ x 2.4″ x 0.8″ and weighs less than half a pound. It has a 4 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel touchscreen display and a 1.2 GHz Intel Atom Z600 processor. The phone has 32GB of storage, 1 GH of RAM, and a 5.1MP camera.
The device gets a whopping 2 hours of battery life when you use it as a PC. Fortunately there’s also a low power phone mode which gives you a little over 6 hours of talk time or 600 hours of standby time.
This crazy handset lets you run full blown Windows applications, on its eye-watering 4” display, and you’ll need magnifying glasses on to be able to update that spread sheet you planned on working on. 2 Hours battery life is pretty good for the size of the device, but you won’t exactly be working efficiently during those 2 hours and will soon have to drop back to the ‘phone only’ side of the handset, which can mange 6 hours talk time and 600 hours standby – which will be dramatically impacted by every minute you run it in PC mode!
There will be a docking station allowing you to hook up external mouse, keyboard and monitor to the F-07C but if you want a portable computer you really are better off picking up a tablet!
