Hotmail or Windows Live Mail as its now known has been updated with a great little feature. Messages marked with a flag are now kept at the top of your Inbox until you un-flag them.
Flagging a message is where you click the small flag icon 
at the top of the message, or in the messages list, turning it red. Previously you could apply a filter to see just these messages, but not they will ‘float’ at the top of your Inbox serving as a permanent reminder until you’ve dealt with them.
Hovering over the flag icon now also gives quick options to Mark as Read or Delete the message which can also be customised from within the Options.
