According to The Verge, Microsoft is currently testing the Windows Phone Skype client and its expected to launch very soon.
That’s the word from several sources who have confirmed that Microsoft employees are able to download a test version of Skype from the Windows Phone Marketplace.
The App adopts the Metro style interface and will be a standalone App with complete integration not expected until Windows Phone 8. Ever since purchasing Skype last May we have long been waiting for the Windows Phone Skype client, and MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2012 could well be the stage for the launch of the new App.
