The Smoked By Windows Phone promotion was a surprising hit. Ben Rudolph was running a #smokedbywindowsphone $100 challenge at CES to compare doing an everyday task on your current phone, versus the same task on a Windows Phone. If you completed the task first, you won $100, if you were beaten by Windows Phone you had to hold up a big sign and pose for photos!

Now Microsoft is running clips from these challenges as 30 second commercials, which you can have a sneak peak at in the videos below. The ads are likely running in the US only, but given the cash Microsoft is throwing at promoting Windows Phone I wouldn’t be surprised to see these running in the UK and Europe soon.
