Wired.co.uk have recently announced the dates and venue for the Wired 2012 event, a series of talks and presentations on technology, business, entertainment, design and innovation. The event will take place over the course of the 25th and 26 of October 2012, at the Brewery in London. Although a list of speakers is yet to be announced, the Wired team didn’t leave readers in the dark, sharing that:

“Speakers will be announced in due course, but as any attendees or readers of Wired.co.uk know from last year, we’re pretty good at getting some of the most exciting thought-leaders and influencers to take to our stage.”

Last year’s Wired 2011 saw talks and demonstrations from Aza Raskin, Bjarke Ingels, Chris Anderson, Dr. Debbie Berebichez, Geoff McGrath, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Heather Knight, to name but a few. The format can be likened to the likes of the TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conferrences held throughout the UK and indeed the world (such as TED India), these events usually see some of the most interesting and revolutionary technological reveals and demonstrations around. The Wired site goes on to state the aims of this year’s event:

“It’s the intention that Wired 2012 will build on last year’s event, offering brain food on the topics of science, technology, business, innovation, design and popular culture. We’ll have names and further details to announce over the coming weeks and months.”
