Samsung Galaxy Note II Now Available On Vodafone

vodafone logoVodafone have confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note II is now available on their network. The successor to the original Galaxy Note which recently surprised the industry when Samsung announced back in June that it has sold over 7 million units.

Designed for on-the go creativity, the powerful new Samsung Galaxy Note II is an exciting addition to the Vodafone Android line-up, packing a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 3100mAh battery and a whole new suite of Apps designed to make the most of the S-Pen included stylus.

The Note II increases the display size further still from the original 5.3″ Note, bringing in a 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED screen running at 1280 x 720 resolution (267 ppi). The dimensions of this even larger cross-over device are now 151.05mm H x 80.4mm W x 9.4mm D – blurring even further the line between a phone and a tablet.

The Note II will ship with Android 4.1 Jellybean, the latest version of Android which makes a change from the usual Samsung units that often launch a version or two behind the latest. Other improvements include 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, LTE support, GPS, DLNA, and NFC.

The Galaxy Note II is available free on Vodafone Red Data price plans from £47 per month, including unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, 2GB of mobile data and 3GB of BT Openzone Wi-Fi access
