The One Mini takes most of the specs and all of the design into a smaller form factor – measuring just 132 x 63.2 x 9.3 mm and sporting a smaller 4.3″ 720 x 1280 pixels display. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Dual Core running at 1.4 GHz instead of the Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 Dual Core 1.7 GHz found in its bigger brother, and it has 1GB RAM instead of 2GB, but other than that most of the key components are the same.
And crucially the key new features of the HTC One, the great audio experience (BoomSound) and HTC Sense features like HTC Zoe™ for improved photo experience are also present.
The HTC One mini will be free on Vodafone Red 4G-ready from £34 per month with unlimited data for the first three months then 2GB of data per month. It comes with unlimited calls and texts and access to Vodafone’s 4G service when it launches on 29th August.
