I like off the wall tech products, ones that you wouldn’t think tech could necessarily get its claws into. The energy drink is a good example, it has grown from the humble niche product into a major market with products being purchased in their millions.
So I was interested when I came across Energy Shisha, a product that claims takes the energy part – caffeine and taurine – and turn it into a vapour you can inhale. The
site claim their products “will help decrease fatigue, enhance sensory activity and increase alertness”. The whole thing is completely new to me, but asking around it seems well known in social circle, being particularly used in bars and clubs as a cheaper, portable way to top up your energy levels.
The E-Shisha seems incredibly good value at only £3.99 for the micro or £6.99 for the standard size, and can last up to 300 puffs, which apparently can equate to the effects of drinking 15 regular cans of energy drink!
Its caffeine based, and as they point out, caffeine is addictive but I usually have a Starbucks pick-me-up in the morning and its the same thing. Clearly this is a product for the young and trendy, but don’t be surprised if you start seeing these more and more frequently due to their convenient size and longer lasting ability.
I love tech things, especially the way they infiltrate our lives without us even realising. I don’t like having to explain how a gadget works to every member of my family though!
