Oppo may not be a name folks around the globe are all that familiar with, but that’s slowly starting to change thanks to smartphones like the Oppo N1 and Oppo Find 5. Their next device looks to be a beast, and it’ll be one of the first devices to sport a 2k display.
Oppo teased the Oppo Find 7 last week, and yesterday they gave folks a bit more information on the upcoming device. While the info was extremely vague, one thing was clear – the image they posted on social networks lets the world know that the Find 7 will sport a 2k display. That means it should have an eye-popping resolution of 2560×1440 which is certainly impressive.
Little else is known about the mysterious Oppo Find 7, but with a screen like that you can expect it to have top of the line specs. Rumors abound (as they usually do) about what lies under the hood, and it’s safe to say you can expect 2-3GB of RAM to go along with a speedy processor like the Snapdragon 805. The actual size of the device is still up in the air as the Oppo Find 5 was a 5-incher, and the word on the net is that the Oppo Find 7 won’t be a 5.7” or 7” inch device.
The minds at Oppo have been busy little bees this year doing things like partnering up with CyanogenMod and putting swiveling cameras on device. 2014 is shaping up to be a big year for the manufacturer, and it looks like the Oppo Find 7 is going to be one of their flagship devices. It’s a device you should definitely keep an eye on, and we’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
