British company Smarter has launched a WiFi enabled Kettle and Coffee Machine!
iKettle 2.0.
Following the success of its predecessor (iKettle), the contemporary Wifi enabled iKettle 2.0 now features a compact form factor and an array of new functions that can be controlled remotely via the Smarter app on iOS and Android devices.
Allowing tea guzzlers to boil a kettle from anywhere in the home or office, wake up to the perfect brew or control the water’s temperature remotely, the iKettle 2.0 is a perfect addition to any kitchen. Intuitively learning how people live, the iKettle 2.0 and accompanying app caters to individual needs seamlessly in the background. New functions available on the Smarter app such as ‘Early Bird Mode’ ensure that mornings run as smoothly as possible, by monitoring traffic reports, the app automatically wakes users up earlier and starts boiling the kettle to coincide with this.
The Kettle even has a ‘Formula Mode’ which allows water to boil to 100c, thus sterilising the water, users can then pre define a temperature that they want to bring the water down to and keep it at that temperature. A useful function for parents that bottle-feed, this is an ideal time saving feature that is sure to be a godsend during the night feed.
Smarter Coffee Machine
With 71% of all of the 225 million cups of coffee* being devoured in the home, this clever machine is a great addition to any home or office.
It learns daily routines to provide users with a smarter lifestyle. Ideal for coffee connoisseurs or those that just need a morning pick me up, the Smarter Coffee Machine allows individuals to quickly adjust the strength of their coffee via the app and then keep their drink hot for up to 35 minutes via the ‘Keep Warm Mode’. The coffee machine will grind and brew on demand so each cuppa will taste as fresh as the last.
The ‘Water Level Mode’ offers live updates on how much water is in the machine and can alert users if it needs to be refilled. Users can also select the amount of cups to be brewed, from 1 – 12, so there will never be a wasted bean.
If you’re looking for a wide range of quality coffee to go with your machine, surprise yourself with a roaster’s choice subscription. You can also consider coffee machine rental which gives you top of the range equipment for a smaller monthly price.
