Ember, maker of the world’s first temperature control mug, has just launched its award-winning Ember Ceramic Mug in the UK with full integration with the Apple Health app.
Ember Temperature Controlled Mug
The Ember Temperature Controlled Mug is a connected IOT mug with multiple temperature sensors and a “microprocessor-controlled dual-band heating system”, which will precisely maintain a chosen drinking temperature.
A fully charged Ember Ceramic Mug will keep your drink at the set temperature for around one hour when you’re on the move or, if used with the included charging coaster, all day!
The mug gives you complete control over the drinking temperature for your hot beverage of choice (between 50°C – 62.5°C) right down to the exact degree, giving people more time to enjoy their drink in the perfect state.
The Ceramic Mug comes in white, which is available from a range of top retailers such as Selfridges, and black which is exclusive to Apple stores in the UK.
Apple Health App
Alongside the launch of the Ceramic Mug in the UK, Ember is also releasing a new update to the Ember app, which features full integration with the Apple Health app. This allows you to track your caffeine consumption throughout the day, as well as set maximum daily caffeine intake measurements – a real must if you’re a coffee addict like we are!
The app will ping you a notification when the daily limit is reached, so you can switch away to something caffeine free for the rest of the day.
The Health app data can also be used to understand how your caffeine consumption affects your heart rate and sleep patterns, and how it contributes to your overall health.
