Samsung recently announced their new Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e handsets at the Samsung Unpacked 2019 event.
Galaxy S10 Features
The new Galaxy S10 features the world’s first Dynamic AMOLED display with a unique Infinity-O Display packs an array of sensors and camera technology into a hole-in display (without the need for a ‘notch’!).
- S10 – 6.1-inch Quad HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED, 19:9 (550ppi)
- S10+ – 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED, 19:9 (522ppi)
- S10e – 5.8-inch, Full HD+ Flat Dynamic AMOLED, 19:9 (438ppi)
It also has the first-ever in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner, which scans in 3D not 2D making it more secure and less able to be fooled with a fake finger. All models are running Android 9.0 (Pie).
Power / Charging
Another innovation, Samsung introduces Wireless PowerShare on Galaxy S10, making it possible to easily charge Qi-certified smartphones and even compatible wearable devices from the phone itself. The, Galaxy S10 is capable of charging itself and a second device simultaneously via Wireless PowerShare, while connected to a regular charger, enabling you to leave your second charger at home while on a trip.
Cameras
The cameras have also been completely reworked, the S10 and S10 Plus both sport triple-lens camera suites with a wide-angle, telephoto zoom, and variable aperture lenses.
The S10e only has two rear lenses, with the variable aperture main lens and a wide-angle lens.

I love tech things, especially the way they infiltrate our lives without us even realising. I don’t like having to explain how a gadget works to every member of my family though!
