There has been a Vodafone Curve GPS Tracker update just announced, making this small affordable real time GPS tracker even better.
We covered the release of the Vodafone Curve GPS Tracker back in July of last year, and found it to be a good value and robust GPS tracker for things like pets and keys etc.
The latest update of the Curve brings a host of new features such as Beep to Find, Bluetooth Proximity Indicator, Multi User and Get Directions – making it one of the smartest all-round trackers on the market.
Even better, all these features are being released as a software update meaning they will be automatically added to all Curve devices already purchased by customers.
Vodafone Curve New Features
Bluetooth Proximity Indicator and Beep to Find can be used when your phone is within the Bluetooth range of Curve and it will pinpoint its location providing a visual indicator the closer you get. Once customers are within 5 metres they can then activate the beep function to find it faster.
Unlike Bluetooth-only trackers, Curve uses a combination of four different tracking technologies – GPS, Wi-Fi, Cellular and Bluetooth – to provide a more reliable connection to your favourite things. For example, GPS will tell you if your keys (attached to Curve) are in the house, Bluetooth will help narrow this down to a particular room and Beep to Find will guide you to its exact location.
The new Multi User function allows you to add up to nine guests to your profile in the Vodafone Smart App – which is great if there’s a group of you wanting to track the same thing, such as a dog or a vehicle.
I’m looking forward to these new features rolling out and being able to test them.
>> The Vodafone Curve GPS Tracker is available for £20 (plus from £2 per month on a 24-month subscription) – see the Vodafone website for details.
