Google’s Android Auto was first introduced in 2014 as a way to bring the Android operating system to cars. The system allows users to connect their Android smartphones to their car’s infotainment system, providing access to navigation, music, and other apps through the car’s display screen. Over the years, Google has made several updates and improvements to the platform, and at CES2023 the company announced the latest set of improvements so lets look at the Android Auto Updates at CES.

One of the most notable improvements in the latest release of Android Auto is the enhanced user interface. The new interface has been designed to be more intuitive and user-friendly, making it easier for users to access the features and apps they need while on the go. This includes a new home screen that provides quick access to navigation, music, and other apps, as well as a redesigned app launcher that makes it easier to find and launch apps.
In addition to these improvements, Google has also improved several new features to the platform. One of these is the ability to use voice commands to control the music and media playback on the car’s infotainment system. This allows users to easily change songs, adjust the volume, or skip to the next track without taking their hands off the wheel.
The brand new capabilities include shortcuts for one-touch replies to messages, smart calling suggestions, missed call reminders and the ability to quickly share the ETA with selected contacts while you’re on the road allowing them to keep track of your journey and arrival time.
Users will also now be able to make WhatsApp calls with Android Auto on Samsung or Pixel phones.
