iD Mobile celebrates 10 years with launch of iD perks

As part of its 10-year anniversary, UK mobile network iD Mobile has launched a new loyalty platform, iD Perks, aimed at rewarding both long-standing and new customers. The platform, accessible through the iD Mobile app and website, offers a broad array of discounts and deals from major brands including Booking.com, Disney, Morrisons, and The AA.

While rewards schemes are typically associated with the UK’s largest mobile providers—and often limited to one or two retail partners iD Perks breaks the mould. The platform delivers a diverse range of offers across high street brands, with added anniversary bonuses such as extra perks and limited-time discounts.

iD Perks is a notable innovation in the budget mobile segment, where loyalty schemes are virtually unheard of. The platform’s rollout reflects the advantages of iD Mobile’s strategic position as a challenger network backed by leading tech retailer Currys. This gives iD a rare blend of agility and retail infrastructure, positioning it to punch above its weight in the MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) market.

Since launching in 2015, iD Mobile has grown to over 2 million subscribers, making it one of the fastest-growing MVNOs in UK history. The network has led with consumer-first features including data rollover, bill capping, inclusive roaming, and early adoption of 4G and Wi-Fi calling many of which are now industry standard.
